Default MMORPG's You'll play alongside GW?

Anarchy Online for me. It's free for a year and I just love getting swamped by trains and trying to OD bosses with other teams even if I lose out it's fun.

I'll be taking a break from World of Warcraft to focus on Guild Wars for a while, but I'll definitely resume my WoW playing later on. Yeah, I'm one of those who enjoy WoW and GW, they're both excellent games. Silly fanboys do not know better.

WoW is one of the games I'll probably never get a chance to play. I can't afford the monthly fees (really tight budget). Which is a pity, as I'd really like to try it out and see if I like it.

I still don't see how you can compare WoW and GW though, they're both entirely different games. The fanboys who say WoW is better are absolutely right though, because they'd rather do the grind and have everything in an non-instanced world.

I will be beta testing Conquer 2.0 whenever TQDigital decides to release it...However, since I don't have high hopes for the game (too much grind, not enough things to do), the release of GW is absolutely perfect timing.

Note: Opinion does not equal fact. Personally I hate WoW. Running for 5 minutes to kill raptors over and over isn't fun.

I'll admit it, I'm a dabbler. I also have a problem because I like to play with friends, but then I make friends in game, and then all my various friends go off various places...

So as of this weekend, I'll be playing:

EQ2, because I enjoy it and my old EQ guild is there

CoH, because I love it as a break from more complicated games, even though none of my friends play it

WoW, but only because my subscription doesn't run out until May 8 and all of my RL friends are hard-core WoW fanatics. Hey, if they wanted me to maintain an interest in the game, they shouldn't have all rushed by me to 60 and then criticized me for playing the "wrong" games and playing WoW the "wrong" way. One of my big hopes for GW is that I'll be less likely to get that kind of [email protected] because of the low level cap. Though I bet PvP/PvE arguments will rage about as strongly.

Heh.... let's see... D2 for 5 years...Dawn of War, Star Craft, Age of Empires,
Imperium Galactica2, Fallout, Heroes of Might & Magic, Chaos Gate, Mechwarrior, and a few others......

D2 dies for me, they ignored it; that's there loss. The others? eh I dabble offline when I get an urge now and then, but the idea of having a replacement for D2 that actually delivers? Yup, that's for me.

Basically, I plan on making this my solo focus. The emmersion factor of this game is great for stress relief and relaxation after the day. That's the biggest thing I want out of any game.

None. Too poor.

However, I may try the D&D MMORPG being developed by Turbine and WOTC I think.

Everquest 2 is my fulltime grind game. I'll go play again when the expansion hits. Game is easy to max level and then no end game..

If GW wins me over big time.. I may not ever go back.. who knows.

GW is more of an action fast paced RPG. And it doesn't seem to get boring for me. You would think it would be repetative, but its not, heh.

Talking

I have an Everquest 2 account that I will be closing.
I've played Ultima Online for 5-1/2 years now that I play off and on. That was my first MMORPG I've ever played and I've made many friends there, so I will keep the account active. Guildwars blows UO away but I don't have the heart to close the account.
Am I the only one who still plays UO?

Nope, I know a few people that swear by UO.
